Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 July 2026These terms set out the ground rules for using borisedisoncraft.com. They are not meant to be intimidating. The site is a personal portfolio, so most of what follows is simply about being clear on who owns what, and on what you can reasonably expect. By browsing the site you accept these terms, and if a particular clause does not sit right with you, the honest answer is that you should not carry on using the site.
About this site
borisedisoncraft.com is the personal portfolio of Boris Edison. It exists to show my work, background and projects, and to give people a way to reach me. It is informational. Nothing here is a product for sale, professional advice, or a promise of any particular outcome, and it should not be relied on as any of those.
Who owns the content
The design, written text, layout, graphics, logo and original code that make up this site are mine, unless something clearly credits another source. You are welcome to read it, share a link to it, and quote a small part with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, pass my work off as your own, or reuse substantial parts of it commercially without asking me first.
Where I link to open-source repositories, for example on GitHub, the code in those repositories is covered by whatever licence is stated there. That licence, not this page, governs how you may use it.
Using the site sensibly
Please use the site the way it is meant to be used. In particular, do not:
- try to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or the servers behind it
- use automated tools to scrape or harvest content, or the contact details, at scale
- upload or send anything malicious, unlawful, hateful or deliberately misleading through the contact form
- misrepresent who you are, or impersonate me or anyone else
Ordinary, good-faith browsing is all that is expected. Anything that amounts to an attack on the site or its visitors is not welcome, and may be reported.
Links to other places
The site points outwards to platforms such as GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram and pandevs.org, among others. Those destinations are run by other people and organisations. I include the links because they are useful, not because I control or endorse everything on them, and I am not responsible for their content, their availability or their own terms.
Availability, and the "as is" reality
I try to keep the site up, current and working, but I make no guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or free of interruptions. The site is provided as it is, and as it happens to be available. From time to time pages may change, move or disappear as my work evolves.
Where liability stands
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage that results from using, or being unable to use, this site, or from relying on anything published here. This does not remove any rights you hold that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, and nothing in these terms attempts to limit liability for things that genuinely cannot be limited, such as fraud.
Messages you send me
When you contact me through the site, keep it lawful and reasonable. I may reply, keep the message while our exchange is active, and act on anything you ask me to do. I am not obliged to respond to every message, and sending one does not create any formal relationship between us unless we both clearly agree to one.
Changes to these terms
The web moves, and so does my work, so I may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the country the site is operated from, which is India, and the courts there have jurisdiction over disputes about them. None of this removes the mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you hold under the law of your own country. Where your local law gives you stronger protection, that protection still stands.
If part of this is unenforceable
If any single clause here turns out to be invalid or unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the rest of the terms carry on unaffected, and the clause in question is read down to the least extent necessary rather than struck out entirely.
Getting in touch
If anything in these terms is unclear, or you want permission to use part of the site, reach me through the Contact section on the homepage.
